There are bands, and then there’s G Clef & The Playlist. Some bands have great musicians. Some bands have great vocalists. We have BOTH! If you want to sit and listen, we are cool with that. Pop? Check! Rock? Check! R&B? Check! Hip-hop? Yeah, check that box, too! Sure, we play Motown, Beach, Earth Wind & Fire, and every song the other bands do, but we also play all of your faves that other bands DON’T play. From Prince to Hootie & The Blowfish to Barry White to Maroon 5 to Hall & Oates to Simple Minds to INXS to 50 Cent to Talking Heads to Metallica (no, that’s not a typo), we do it ALL!! Our sound is big. Our size is not.
Size matters? Not in this band. Don’t let the size fool you. Lush three- and four-part harmonies and complex arrangements make this four-piece group sound like an eight-piece. Normally, you would NEED eight people to achieve the same sound because everyone in the band either sings or plays. In G Clef & The Playlist, we all sing and we all play. And the size of the band also fits more clients’ budgets, too. If you want more pieces, like a horn section and/or female vocalist, we can accommodate you on that as well. WARNING: You get more than what you pay for!
